Michelle Graves & Frederick Nitsch's collaboration is a mash-up of their styles. Frederick Nitsch makes abstract paintings on canvas or paper and titles them with emotionally evocative phrases. Michelle Graves utilizes scientific research with existential writing to create her interdisciplinary bodies of work. Graves paired Nitsch's titles with cosmic phenomena and laser cut silhouettes from his paintings to create this series of shadowbox work. Michelle was a contributor to Volume 6 of Packington Review; this is Frederick's first appearance in the journal.
