Western=European=White=Christian
by Jelena Savić

Should it be a landscape or a portrait? The frame defines the fields of power. Words follow the upper white horizontal frame and order, discipline themselves one next to the other, one line below the other in the left to right direction. Period. Western. I am Western. I is Western. Following the principles of the Western civilization. Western=European=White=Christian. I ate well today. Abundance. Temporary. Awareness of its temporality. Shiver. I ate well today. Diverse food. Multiplicity. Multiplicity is always better than singularity. Leibniz’s monads remind me of TV shaped windows of Serbian architecture. New Belgrade. Block 28. Prestressed concrete. I have never seen faces in those windows, except here. Heads looking out of that TV shaped windows. Looking outside. Into nothing. COVID-19 TV. I always wanted to fly when writing. Fly, let it go. Fly over the holes of your concrete walls of your memory brain routes. But it does not fly. Are you a prisoner? I ate well. I will not remember you gladly, Time. Speak to me, Time. Why you ghost my presence? Time is silent. She picks up her scarf on a coldish May night 2020 and continues to look outside through the TV shaped window. She is 2020 years old. That’s because she is a prisoner of her own existence in the European=Western=White=Christian frame. She is late, underperforming, and she is poor also. She is in a temporary mood. She does not even eat the food I prepare. Silent. You hear they said you will have to be invented again, Time? She scuffles. In fact, we are aware of the existential crisis, the moment and insecurity, the temporality and predeterminism of our existence, all immanence, crumbs of transcendence gone by the platform 333. I ate good today.
